Meka was sculpted and released in 2014 to take the place of my first porcelain doll, Eka. Like Eka, Meka is a limited edition doll that has simple joints and a short cute body.

The first little minions. These dolls taught me more than I ever imagined. They are smaller than most 1:6 scale dolls but larger than most 1:12 scale dolls making them quite small but not exactly miniature.

Eka was sculpted in 2012 and, although quite simple, she was my first ever jointed porcelain doll. She was a limited run of 25 dolls and they were all made quickly within the first year. She was a fantastic learning opportunity.
